Strength2Food research is informing a teaching module on “The Protection of Geographical Indications and Traditional Speciality Guaranteed in European Union Law”, developed as part of an Erasmus+ Programme Jean Monnet project. Dr. Didem Özgür from Istanbul Technical University European Union Centre is leading the initiative.

The project has developed a new course on “Protection of Geographical Indications and Traditional Speciality Guaranteed in EU Law” which targets higher education students. The interdisciplinary course provides lectures on specific EU quality schemes, to disseminate knowledge and raise awareness both in Turkey and the EU.

STRENGTH2FOOD project’s outputs, articles, reports, and book are used in the course.
