Aid policy makers and other relevant stakeholders in improving the effectiveness of current policies on food quality designations and public sector food procurement (PSFP).
Stimulate the development of new quality markets and local food chains through pilot initiatives and innovative actions.
Promote healthy and nutritious diets.
Highlight the economic, environmental and social impacts of short food supply chains (SFSC) and local/regional sourcing initiatives.
Encourage knowledge exchange and stakeholder engagement on up-to-date sustainable practices.
