Food Nation, a social enterprise in Newcastle upon Tyne and a partner of the Strength2Food Programme, have won the award of all awards in the Public Health field!

In October 2016, Jamie Sadler and Joanna Lacey (Food Nation Directors) attended the annual Royal Society of Public Health awards and picked up 2 awards for the organisation’s Food Education work.

Firstly, they were named winners of the national Healthier Lifestyle Award and secondly were awarded the first ever ‘Minister of Public Health Award’. These awards recognise their high standards and the success and social impact of the work delivered in communities in the North East of England.
